Le Marie winery was founded on Valerio’s deep-rooted passion for winemaking—one that has been carefully nurtured and elevated through the unwavering support of his wife, Luigina, and their children, Simona and Daniele. Together, they have dedicated themselves to a thoughtful, hands-on process driven by respect, patience, and craftsmanship, with the goal of expressing a long-standing tradition in every bottle.

Each wine is the result of a meticulous approach: small-batch production, carefully controlled origins, and a commitment to low-impact agricultural and agronomic practices that honor the integrity of the land. This intentional process yields wines that are not only elegant and authentic, but rich with character and a true sense of place.

The winery is located in Assarti, a hamlet of Barge, nestled at the foot of Monviso and Monte Bracco—an area historically recognized for exceptional grape growing. Centuries of cultivation have shaped both the land and the methods used today, with documented recognition of the region’s wines dating back to 1203.

This enduring heritage continues to influence the winery’s approach, where tradition and precision come together to produce wines worthy of their legacy—once favored by nobility, and now crafted with the same level of care and distinction.
