Manoir de la Tête is a small Saumur estate producing Cabernet Franc-based reds from the Loire's famous tufa limestone terroir—the underground rock that gives Saumur its distinct character and connects the region's vineyards to its network of historic cave cellars. The Saumur Rouge Bagatelle is an entry-level expression of the appellation, designed for early drinking and maximum versatility: light-bodied, with the cool red fruit and pencil-shaving quality of Loire Cabernet Franc, it is a perfect restaurant pour or picnic wine.
