This small wine-merchant business was created by Maxime-François Laurent in 2006 along with the domaine's activity. It consits in a partnership with a winegrower next to the domaine whose vines spread on approximately 6 hectares located on the villages of Montbrison and Valréas. The Laurents have been certified organic since 2010. The clay-limestone sub-soils combined with the location of the vines give staunchly fruity and sunny notes to the wines. The harvest is entirely hand-picked in crates, and one selection is made on the vines.
Maxime totally vinifies the wines he issues and labels under his name. He produces two different cuvees “Il Fait Soif” and “Pourpre." The wines are made in the most natural way possible, with no addition of sulfur during the vatting, The fermentation is made with natural yeasts. No fining, no filtration, & only a slight sulfating after the malolactic fermentation (2g per hectoliter).

"Il Fait Soif"

80% Grenache, 20% Syrah. All grapes have been farmed biodynamically since 2007. All fermentations are natural, using only indigenous yeasts. The wine is bottled unfined and unfiltered, and with no additional sulfur during fermentation. Grapes are partially de-stemmed. Syrah ferments with carbonic maceration. Partial whole cluster fermentation in cement cuve for 10 days. The wine ages for 6 months in stainless steel cuves.

100 % Grenache farmed biodynamically since 2007. All fermentations are natural, using only indigenous yeasts. Grapes are partially de-stemmed and macerate for 15 days. The Grenache for the Pourpre comes from 5--80 year old vines. The wine is then aged in neutral barrique.
