Stéphane Regnault

Champagne

Based in Oger, a Grand Cru village on the Côte des Blancs, Stéphane Regnault crafts Champagnes of singular precision from old Chardonnay vines rooted in some of the region's deepest chalk deposits. His Dorien N'45 Grand Cru Blanc de Blancs is sourced from a single plot of extraordinarily aged vines—a vineyard whose roots penetrate far into the chalky subsoil, yielding wines of remarkable mineral complexity and texture. Regnault works with minimal intervention in the cellar, avoiding heavy-handed dosage or aggressive fining, letting the terroir of Oger and its Grand Cru neighbors drive the wine's personality. The Chromatique T21 represents a more accessible but equally expressive expression of the house style—bright, Chardonnay-driven, with the signature salinity of the Côte des Blancs. Both wines reflect Regnault's conviction that great Champagne begins in the vineyard and asks very little of the winemaker beyond thoughtful stewardship.
