to consumers looking for a connection to the grapes and to the farmers laboring for them.

Matthew Roesch

Matthew C. Roesch is a former corporate attorney with eight years of experience at some of the nation’s largest law firms.  Matthew still holds a license to practice law in Colorado.  In addition, Matthew has attained the level of Certified Sommelier with the Court of Master Sommeliers. When he is not skiing, mountain biking, or playing with his golden retriever, Darwin, Matthew handles most of the day-to-day affairs of the company.

Dustin Wilson

Dustin S. Wilson is a Master Sommelier who has worked at some of the country’s best restaurants - Frasca Food & Wine in Boulder; The Little Nell in Aspen; RN74 in San Francisco.  Until recently he has served as Wine Director of the three Michelin-starred Eleven Madison Park in New York City overseeing an expansive wine list and all aspects of wine service and the wine team.  His exploits in attaining the Master Sommelier certification are chronicled in the critically-acclaimed documentary, SOMM.  Dustin’s contacts in the wine industry are far-reaching and will play a key role in helping to grow the Anvil Wine portfolio.  Currently, he is part-owner of Verve Wine with locations in New York, San Francisco, and Chicago. He considers Colorado his second home and loves visiting to ski, explore the mountains, and enjoy the thriving restaurant scene.
